Our world is filled with men and women of accomplishment, but fewer are those who possess both depth of achievement and depth of character. Even fewer are those with the accompanying depth of heart and spirit. The person profiled below is truly a great, a man whose legacy will leave an eternal impression upon our planet Earth. Anyone blessed to share space with him is forever changed for the better due to his profound expression of kindness, wisdom and love.

 

Installed 8th July, 2019 as Mogaji of the Okiti-Aresa family lineage of Ibadanland, His Eminence Chief Adesina Kolawole Olatunji-Aresa (BSC, MBA, FCMA, CPA, PGDE) was born 24th September, 1958 in the state of Oyo, city of Ibadan.

 

Mogaji Okiti, also known as Chief Olatunji-Aresa earned his Bachelor of

Science in Accounting (B.Sc. Accounting) in 1990 from Obafemi

Owolowo University, Ile Ife. Furthering his educational and

professional pursuits resulted in achievinghis Masters of Business

Administration (MBA) in 2004 from the University of Ibadan.

A desire for continued refinement led Chief Olatunji-Aresa to

complete his Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)

in 2014.

 

To the core, true to his native country and global

world, community and social engagement have

remained priorities for Chief Olatunji-Aresa, as he

is relentlessly dedicated to improving our world

through his own actions and contributions to

society at-large. As such, he became Associate

Member of the Institute of Cost and Management

Accountants (ACMA) in

2004. He was made a Fellow Member of the same

Institute of Cost Management Accountants (FCMA) in

2007. In the following year of 2008 Chief

Olatunji-Aresa dedicated himself as an Associate

Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of

Nigeria (CPA), and an Associate Member of the Institute of

Forensic Accountant (CFA). With a high degree of emphasis on

the importance of education in our world, His Eminence Chief

Olatunji-Aresa is a loyal member of the Teachers Registration

Council of Nigeria.

 

Authentic in his cause for the advancement of local and global

humanitarian missions, His Eminence Chief Adesina Olatunji-Aresa has                      been a loyal and proactive member of Ibadan South-East Traditional Council from                       February 2020 to the present date. He is an active member in the Oluyole Social Elite Club          (Ibadan) and the International Council for Ifa/Orisa Spirituality (ICIOS). Chief Olatunji-Aresa is the former Secretary-General for the International Council for Ifa Religion (ICIR). In addition, he is the Pioneer President for Green Circle International (a humanitarian and charity organization), as well as the Pioneer President for Oke-Ado High School (Ibadan) Old Students Association (OHSIOSA). He became the Chairman of the School Governing Board at Oke-Ado High School in 2019 by Abiola Ajimobi, the then Oyo state Governor; he was reappointed to same position by His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde in January of 2022. Chief Olatunji-Aresa demonstrates commitment to several higher level country concerns, one such is the security of our country. As a result of this focus Chief Adesina Olatunji-Aresa serves as a Patron of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria.

In 2023, Chief Olatunji-Aresa earned the appointment of Eminent Peace Ambassador under the International Association of World Peace Advocates ( IAWPA), a world-class organisation with UNITED NATIONS ECOSOC Special Consultative Status.

 

Mogaji Okiti, His Eminence Chief Olatunji-Aresa is also a man of rich substance with a robust body of work experiences. He served as an Accountant at College of Preliminary Studies, Yola, he also worked as an Accountant at Eminent Insurance Brokers, Surulere, Lagos from 1991 to 1993; from 1993 to 2000 he served as an Accountant with Technology Management Group, Papa Ajao, Lagos. Chief Olatunji-Aresa continued to invest in the education of others through 20 years of offering his skills as a tutor with the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission from 2000-2020. His Eminence Chief Olatunji-Aresa has been of mentorship and humanitarian service to indigent students in Ibadanland and our global world at-large as Board President of Ile Aresa International, a charitable, philanthropic and personal development organization facilitating community-building from 2017 up to present date.  A most revered custodian of Yoruba tradition worldwide, His Eminence Chief Olatunji-Aresa is the co-director of a United States based non-profit organization called Diaspora to Afrika. In solid partnership with Ori Counseling Services, LLC (New Orleans, Louisiana, USA), and as co-director of Diaspora to Afrika, His Eminence serves as both a pillar and bridge for descendants of Afrika dispersed throughout the Afrikan Diaspora to reconnect with our Motherland.  For well over 30 years His Eminence, Chief Adesina Olatunji-Aresa has safely co-facilitated the reunion of mother Afrika with her children from the global Afrikan diaspora, ushering them home for deep immersive cultural exchanges and life-enhancing ancestral reconnections.

We are privileged as a world to be touched by the likes and light of such noble men as His Eminence Chief Adesina Kolawole Olatunji-Aresa, Mogaji Okiti-Aresa. We thank him for his past, present and on-going dedication, and his positive contributions to our country and global world.
